Testimonials
have been working at Queens Park Care Home since February. All the staff have made me feel very welcome. The home is so warm and friendly. I walked to the local shop one day with a resident and realised why i love my job and that we make such a big difference to their lives.
We have always been so impressed by Queens Park. The staff are so lovely, so warm and friendly, and always go the extra mile to loo k after loved ones. We feel very lucky that they are in such a kind place.
R moved into the home on the May 24, R has stated that he is very thankful for the staff at the home, and how welcoming we have been since he moved into the home. R was grateful for when a staff member went into town with him, and that he can book a taxi to go to the shops for his personal things. R is independent with all his own personal care; he will come to the kitchen to make himself a drink and get something to eat. When R was speaking to me, he said that he has worked all his life in either painting/decorating, orengineering around Wigston area of Leicester. R has stated that he has nofamily around him for support, so he is grateful for everything we do for him.
J moved into the home on the June 24, J has worked all her working life as well as bringing her children up, which has been hard to do both. J said that she is happy to have moved here as she feels safe and well. J asked as soon as she arrived do we have a garden, as she would like to sit out there as she has not been in the fresh air for a while, even though it was raining, she still wanted to sit out there. J said that when she was younger, she lived around this area and that it has not changed much, she noticed as she was travelling in the car from the hospital. J is independent with all her personal care; she will just need some assistance to use the lift.
